What Should I do for my Pre-Season ?

Well isnt that a problem question and most footy clubs out there just fall for the old school methods and run their guys into the ground - Just flog em routine that perhaps they were put through back in the day.

Understanding how to cycle training and keep the Athlete / Player fresh but challeng the Energy Systems required to be successful at the game is super important - Having the bare minimum C3 - 4  or a Dip. in fitness or even a degree doesnt always equate to having the know how to get the maximum out of your team in the season ahead.

Understanding what time restrictions local kids have to committ its very important to supply the correct activities that cater to developing Strength Flexibility Range Speed and Endurance. Developing these facets have to be done in a sequential way - By that I mean theres no point working the extremities - "Just to get Bigger" before the core is developed (Core being entire Lower torso and Pelvic Girdle.)

It is essential to compliment a good Running program with a well created systematic S&C program.

So many athletes ruin themselves at an early age doing the wron things and mostly its in the weightroom trying to copy old mate whos been doing it that way for years.... NO BLOODY GOOD THAT!

I put together this program a while ago and have been tweaking it continuously - The teams that have followed it to the letter have all progressed from middle of the rung ladder to finals the next season two teams Burleigh Heads and Leopold made it through to the Grand Final in the seasons they first completed this program.

How it's designed-

There is a Base Build Phase into a Speed development Phase, Agility is woven through with Maintanence for in season and of course Testing to ensure progression is maintained.

I can proudly say this program works - and it been a frustration of mine that I havent been able to get it out there in the past - But now the Platform exists to make my dream come true - for those of you willing to "Let Boldness Be Your Friend"  and get on board Good Luck. I look forward to seeing you on the other side of the App.

See you soon
